I’d Cuss A WHOLE LOT LESS…, -If Only….

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , on April 2, 2010 by Dark Knightingale

A minutely-small DREAM became a REALITY!!!   ……………………………….

-BUT, UNTIL THEN, I WILL DO WHAT I MUST DO!!!

-NO MATTER WHAT!!!!

Tonight, I will be thinking about a Nephew of mine, who I am about to go see this Easter weekend, AND the grill-cooked Dinner His Aunt Sandra And I willl be having when we come home.

He KNOWS (being locked up there) that he HAS "missed out on" "some-sort-of Easter Holiday recognition", -BUT, his Aunt Sandra AND I consider the whole process of "welcoming of the man that they decided to slaughter 5 days later…" (Easter Sunday) when "Jesus arose from the dead…" (-MAYBE, just simply because TOTAL IDIOTS diagnosed him as "dead" after a such a SLOPPLY-EXECUTED  EXECUTION…, Since "he" WAS OBVIOUSLY ABLE to arise, and screw with his desciples and OTHERS) later as something we'd RATHER NOT be "associated with".

Why "SUPPOSEDLY MURDER" someone then "require us" to "recognize him" yearly?

And where in the fuck did Easter rabbits come from???

-MEANING: Our Nephew HASN'T MISSED ANYTHING here, in OUR house!!!

🙂

Hey… -Whatever. -YOU ALL BELIEVE what you WANT to Believe, and/or SEE…

-But HERE, it IS WHAT IT IS and I PERSONALLY am MUCH QUCIKER to believe what I can see.

-I currently ONLY "recognize" two "holidayz" per year (-Probably partially because I couldn't afford to regularily PAY IN to the "requirements" of societies OTHER holidayz every year…)…

My "Recognized Holidays" are: MEMORIAL DAY And THANKSGIVING, Every year!!!

However, as I HAVE done for the past few years, I will be posting Marillion's "Easter" for your enjoyment, despite whether I enjoy anything or not, and I AM NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!!

-As USUAL….

It IS the BEST EASTER SONG I HAVE EVER HEARD IN MY LIFE thus far!!!

😉

Please enjoy!!!

And, as usual, I will repost this song this coming Sunday.

-It's ALL I DO at this time of year.

Easter, The Only One

Easter
Marillion

There's a song for pretty much every holiday, but did you know there's one for Easter too? (No, it's not a church hymn) This is "Easter" by Marillion. I'm going to type out the CD's liner notes about this song for you, because I find it to be most interesting. This is the ONLY Easter song that I'm aware of that isn't a hymn and doesn't suck.

I hope you like this song as much as I do!

Easter 5:56

(Steve Hogarth, Steve Rothery, Mark Kelly, Pete Trewavas, Ian Mosley)

Published by Charisma Music Publishing/Rondor Music (London) Ltd p1989

Produced by Nick Davis & Marillion

It was February '89. I had been with the band for about three weeks. We were at the Music Farm, near Brighton, Sussex. I had this red plastic bucket full of cassettes and tambourines. In the evenings we would listen through to any half-formed musical ideas we had written during the days. If we were stuck for inspiration, Mark would ask me if there was anything in the bucket…I'd written this song about a year before, in early '88, but never got beyond chorus 2 until the band got a hold of it… I was thinking of the "The Skye Boat Song" and I wanted Easter to be like that, but like an anthem for Ireland. It's not a political song, it's a love song – A tribute to the warmth of the Irish spirit, a message of hope and support to the great majority of people who want nothing to do with the gunmen (all the gunmen) but must, nonetheless, raise their children amidst a climate of potential violence. I referred to Yeats' poem "Easter 1916"… More out of reverence to his genius than out of plagarism… Honest! H.
