Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , on August 27, 2008 by Dark Knightingale

I'm finally at the end of my classes with today being the last day!!!

It seems like it's been a long eight weeks since I had my focus here, but I should be back in to this more, now that I'm done.

Thanks to all my friends for being patient!

Was I The Only One…?

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , on August 8, 2008 by Dark Knightingale

Was I the ONLY one who thought that "The Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor" was a great story that was too quickly "slapped together" and falling short, even WORSE than part 2?

Had it not been for Brendan Fraser and Jet Li, this EXCELLENT, but mis-managed story would not have gone as far as it has so far.

My first disappointment was the absence of Rachel Weiss, for some unknown reason.

However, besides being seemingly "lazily slapped together", another GLARING mistake was the reincarnation of the Emperors General, who had been DRAWN AND QUARTERED, but returned missing just one arm.

Jet Lis' choreography was EXCELLENT, as usual, but they took this excellent idea and just lazily slapped it together knowing that it would make money no matter WHAT kind of crap they filmed for us.

I will grudgingly add the DVD to my library to maintain the integrity of my library, but I am really disappointed with this movie, and what it COULD have been.
